The ultimate hunting and stalking boot developed specifically for bushveld conditions. Soft-milled aniline, water-resistant leather upper, made with a full calf-skin lining and footbed. The Tankwa boot also features a soft underfoot plantation crepe rubber wedge which makes it the perfect stealth machine, super quiet and very comfortable. The boot is fully repairable and includes a double-row of 1.2mm strong lock-stitched outsole stitching.
Water-resistant leather uppers.

The boots are of high quality and very comfortable to walk in after quite a distance. They are also very quiet even over rocky areas which makes stalking easier.

At first glance the shoes do not have the worked leather finish as illustrated in the picture, quality of the shoes seems good and all stitching seems to be done very well. The shoes are very tight where the laces start and the stud of the first lace loops really start hurting me after a short walk. I have owned freestyle shoes before that were less than half the price of these and no problems, I expected much more for the price. Service is most excellent and exchanging the first incorrectly ordered size was painless.

I have been wearing these boots for many years. I loved them to pieces until the previous two pairs that I bought had the same problem. The leather uppers where it folds, start disintegrating even when applying there recommended treatment or Dubbin for that matter. The soles are still in a very good condition, but both sides have gaping tears in it's sides. The leather tanning must be the problem. My military boots are still 100% after many years.
