DESCRIPTION: Mad Max style desert boot in Men's sizes. Soft, mellow and durable leather uppers( not as much wearing-in is necessary) with an inside genuine YKK zip that makes them easy-to-wear. Suitable for a high instep. Functional, adjustable anodised-brass buckles. Initially, on first wear, set the buckles to the right fitting and thereafter just use the zip for easy on and off.
DETAILS: The sole is made of a durable, non-slip Thermoplastic Rubber(TPR). The boot is double-row, outsole stitched for extra grunge and durability. All stitching is non-rot polyester. There is a Freestyle braided pull tab to assist with getting the boot on and off easily. The footbed is made of calfskin leather padded for extra comfort.
It’s been just over a month since I received my Bronco Rust coloured Stormrider Boots and they’ve become one of my all time favourites - from their colour to their fit!!
Was used to my lace-up Freestyle boots (Emma and Mountain Ranger PRO) but these are great for quicker on and off with their inside zip and the adjustable buckles for a better ankle fit.
Opted for the men’s version for a couple of reasons:
1) Men’s sizes & cut fit my broader feet and higher arches perfectly
2) Thicker sole that’s more durable as I wear them 3-5 days of the week
3) Bronco Rust Colour

Lovely shoe for my husband, he cannot be happier, though the sizing was very far from standard sizing. My husband is a standard size 9 UK (size 43 EU) and we had to order a size 8, which fits perfect on his feet. Had a bit of trouble with the return but the problem was with the courier company and Freestyle made quick work of rectifying the issue.
Overall, we'll be happy to order from Freestyle in the future!
Had the plakkies for less than a week and the stitching on the left one came undone where the toe straps meet. Contacted Freestyle to request this be addressed/remedied and have received no feedback. Not happy with quality especially given the price paid.
