What marks this veldskoen as special is that it is made from a naturally tanned mellow, heavy-weight, genuine wild kudu leather from the Greater Kudu - Tragelaphus strepsiceros. It is the second tallest antelope after the Giant Eland on the African continent. The fully padded insole sock is vegetable-tanned goatskin.

I sent Freestyle a photo of my old vellies, in order to replace them with the exact same product. However, the new replacement pair is quite a different shape - too wide on the sides. I now need to return them.
