Stylish, Anatomical, Soft full-grain leathers, fully leather lined, padded leather insole, Tasha Sole. The Tasha is definitely one of our most individual, arty and independent shoes. Not interested in the whims and desires of the mainstream, but fiercely different. This is a veldskoen not to everyone's taste.
These are such great shoes - I do find that I need to put a soft insole in if I am walking a lot - but only because I have some pins in my big toes. Other than that they are just perfect.

First off, I love the shoes. They looked great on the website and the design is lovely. However I do have a few feedback points. A few weeks ago I bought a pair of the standard veldskoenen and after trrying different sizes i went for a size 5 because the 4s were too narrow. So when I bought the Tasha's I went for the same size (5) but unfortunately they are smaller than the vellies model and narrower than I had anticipated which is a shame.
From the website they had looked like more of a 'barefoot' style, with no heel and a flat sole which I really liked the look of. The site doesn't make clear the detail of the sole so I was quite surprised by that too and a little disappointed that they weren't a soft barefoot sole. Needless to say they are comfortable and smart and I am enjoying them regardless. Thank you very much

Cute and Comfy
My Vellies are absolutely cute and comfy! One customer mentioned difficulty getting them on but they were too cute to not try. After 3 wears the leather relaxes enough for these Vellies to be your go to boot. I have worn them nearly every day!
I ordered the Stella in Paprika for a special trip to Europe. It arrived well within time but the soles were black in stead of nude as per the website. This made the boots look a little more industrial which is not what I had envisioned. I returned them, asking them to rectify this.
The returns process was smooth and everyone was helpful. Whilst I told them about my deadline, it is now a week away and still no boots and no updates 🫣
This is my third pair of boots from Freestyle SA.. I bought my first pair about 20 years ago - it lasted about 17 years (the best thing for your feet in winter) .. . amazing products and the new colours are fantastic !
