DESCRIPTION: Proving itself to be a firm favourite, this unpretentious, rugged, neat and just what you need for everyday use shoe, is a go anywhere, kind of no-nonsense performer. It is what it says it is. It is a broad-fitting, comfortable and durable performer.
DETAILS: The sole is a non-slip Thermoplastic Rubber moulded from imported materials. Classical derby-style design, with a leather English binding detail on the quarter. It has a fully padded 3mm non-removable footbed, single-row braided outsole stitch. It has a roomy fit.
CARE: It's best to use Freestyle Leather Balsam or Leather Fat to nourish and protect the leather. Regular application of shoe products is recommended to ensure that your shoes stay looking for longer as the Oom Ben is made using natural leathers.
We named this style after the intrepid man from Cologne, Germany of the same name. RIP Oom Ben.

Great Product in size 13
One of only a few manufacturers that values style and function is size 13's. Size 13's a challenge to find and if you do looks like style went out the window in the design or if some style triple the normal price. Not the Oom Ben's Freestyle size 13's. I am very flat footed and find the width on these shoes support my feetr very comfotably. Looking forward to many more years of buying thse shoes for work and for play....
Delighted with my purchase, the size is perfect, I'm usually a 5 or 6, the 6 is perfect (be guided by standard UK sizing), the leather softened quickly and was within one wear very comfortable to wear. I'm considering my next pair already!
