I have had the best experience from ordering the shoes to fitting it on. Taking a size smaller worked, it fits perfectly. I am a very impressed and satisfied customer.
Easy to apply with no fuss or mess. I love how the balsam deepens the colour, making it richer. It gives a nice, soft feel to the leather too.
Beautiful craftsmanship, with meticulous attention to detail. I was unsure about the size, but the Freestyle team was super helpful in assisting. In the end, the boots fit perfectly; I don’t think I’ve ever bought a pair of shoes that was THAT comfortable right from the start, I didn’t even need to “break them in”.
My initial thought was that I would’ve liked more cushioning, but after the first wear it was no longer an issue. They’re perfectly comfortable even for a lot of walking.
I bought Freestyle’s leather balsam along with it and treated them before first wear. I love how the colour deepens and gets richer with the balsam.
The only room for improvement is with the strap: I don’t have thick legs, but I’m using the very last hole. I imagine for someone with a huskier built the strap would be far too short. Its a great design though for keeping the laces conveniently tucked and less likely to untie.
I waited quite longer than expected, but it was worth it. These boots right away became right away my favourite shoes in a long time.
