Ladies high-cut military-style boots with a fitted bellows tongue for the wild and free, adventurous-at-heart, strong women in Africa. The Army Boot is fitted with a genuine YKK zip on the inside of your foot for easy wearing.
A bellows tongue prevents sand, stones, grass and twigs from getting into your boot. It is so named because it is like the fire bellows that you can use to stoke a fire. It also prevents the tongue from moving around the boot as you wear it.
It just makes you want to jump into the mud.

Boots are nice but too small. I emailed but got no response. So instead of exchange I'm just gonna send them back for refund. Cannot wait another 6 weeks for shoes that cost R4500. Winter is here, this will take way too long since I got no reply yet 3 days later
I am so impressed with my Army boots, the colour is perfect and the size too. Attention to detail is just spot on. I am usually between a size 5 and 6 and went with a size 5 after measuring my foot and speaking to one of the ladies at Freestyle. I would advise considering taking a size smaller as my size 5 is perfect and has space for a sock. I wore them in the snow in France and they were just beautiful, good grip, no slip and kept me warm! Thank you for excellent craftsmanship!

I had mixed feelings when these arrived. They are beautifully stitched and the quality is what I expect from freestyle 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. They are truly gorgeous boots. Size is also perfect. I was a bit sad that the colour is darker than on the website (viewed on 5 different device screens). I know that you can’t always rely on photos, but I would have preferred them a bit lighter. Keep this in mind when ordering. Also, there is an imperfection in the leather on the toe box. According to the pamphlet which came with the boots, imperfections can be expected. But when cutting out the leather, perhaps they could have placed it on a less conspicuous place? Overall I am happy with my purchase.
Great quality boot, comfortable sole, soft/supple leather. Typically I wear a size 6, but ordered a size 5 due to previous reviews noting that it’s a bigger cut - fit is a bit snug but I’m quite sure it will stretch with wear perfectly, size 6 would have likely been a bit too big. Dropped one star as some of the stitch ends are loose (which I’ll go ahead and seal), and cuts aren’t exact between shoes, but this can be appreciated in a handmade product. Definitely not disappointed! Pictured after treating with Colby Boot Care cream.
