Backgammon originates from the area of modern day Iraq - It has 24 positions reflecting the hours of the day, divided into 4 equal blocks of 6 - each player has 15 pieces. The object of the game is to get your pieces off the board before your opponent does.  This handy travel companion is a necessity for even the most grueling trips and especially fun for a game over breakfast. I can't tell too much, unfortunately. I bought it based on photos and memories from 2006 when I saw this beauty in a trip to Cape Town. Now I asked it to be locally delivered to a friend who will bring it to me to southamerica.
However, I can tell that the purchase process was nice and the delivery was very fast, with every step informed opportunely.
